- ‘Spring’ salmon that spent two years in freshwater as a juvenile, followed by two at sea. Total age 5 years, egg laid in winter 2008, hatched in spring 2009, smolted in spring 2012, returned to river in spring 2014.

- Opening of the 2014 salmon fishing season on the River Ness with a ceremony at the Mill Stream Pool, behind the Holm Mills Shopping Village.
