The draft 2022 Annual Report was approved at the December Board meeting and has now been published – link here
It has been another busy year for the Board, staff and Board members alike, and a productive one with actions underway on many fronts. The reported rod catch for the season was 837 salmon and grilse, which is the best since 2018. There are signs that the spring run is improving and the grilse catch was better than the five and ten year average. Catches are still low compared to historical catches but there are reasons for optimism.
