The Scottish Mink Initiative (SMI) has been very successful over the last two and half years and, although the current phase is now drawing to a close, SMI will continue with future work largely being supported through local organisations rather than Mink Control Officers. The work of these organisations will be guided by the SMI Project Coordinator, Ann-Marie MacMaster, who will be based in North Tayside. The contact person and organisation for the Ness system is Keith Williams from the Ness and Beauly Fisheries Trust. Keith’s contact details and latest report can be found in the SMI September 2013 newsletter.
